The charity candle is Whiteleys Retreat, based in Ayrshire this is a very special charity offering respite breaks for families with children suffering life limiting illnesses.
When I was 17 we lost my brother to leukaemia, when I visited Whiteleys for the first time I wished there was such a place in 1991. Families can spend time together outwith the hospital environment, knowing every need is catered for.
