Ayr Gaiety Partnership is the charity and social enterprise behind the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr. This iconic venue has been at the heart of the town since 1902, but it is more than just a theatre. The Gaiety not only provides a variety of shows throughout the year—including its much-loved annual pantomime—but has also recently expanded with the opening of Gaiety 2, a three-studio space on Arthur Street. This new facility is now home to all youth and musical theatre classes, helping young people build confidence and develop valuable skills.
Gaiety 2 also hosts the monthly Memory Lane Café, a welcoming and supportive event for people living with dementia and their carers, offering a bit of fun and friendship during a challenging time.
The organisation continues to run Gaiety On Tour, bringing a wide range of performances to rural locations across Ayrshire. This initiative ensures that communities throughout the region have access to high-quality, affordable theatre close to home.
As a social enterprise, Ayr Gaiety Partnership is supported by 100 dedicated volunteers. Every penny generated is reinvested into expanding its services and programming—ensuring there truly is something for everyone.
