Created by inspirational 15 year old Jak Trueman before he died ten years ago, Team Jak strives to ensure no child or young person will face cancer alone and will get the support they need in their journey!
Team Jak provide lots of family fun activities from Jak’s Den HQ, Livingston and Jak’s Den Aberdeen and via pop ups in Fife and Glasgow, along with fun outings, bespoke emotional support in the form of counselling,
Play, music and drama therapy, and Bag of Worries groups and sessions from Jaks Den, online and in schools and pop up Jaks Dens in Schiehallion Ward, Glasgow, Lochranza Ward, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Children's hospitals.
We also provide much needed bereavement support to our families who sadly lose their child,
And all of our support is there for as long as each and every child,
Young person or family or friend needs us in whatever way we can!
This year is a very special year for us as we celebrate Jaks legacy with a “Bee Happy” theme , as Jak told everyone to be happy just before he died!
